Start your dance journey here

RAD Ballet & PBT
Starting with our preschool ballet classes for ages 2-4, students are able to embark on their ballet journey, learning the basics whilst exploring their imagination.

As students get older, they then move to following the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus with the opportunities to take exams and move up the grades, from Pre-Primary through to vocational levels.

We also have Progressive Ballet Technique classes for our older students. These classes focus on the core of ballet technique and are a great preparation for pointe work.

ISTD Modern
Following the ISTD syllabus, students can start enrolling in our modern classes at the age of 5 years.
Modern dance is often seen on the stages of musical productions and is known for its theatrical qualities. The style uses travelling steps, high kicks, leaps and turns which all need strength and flexibility. This is a highly energetic dance style.

Students who take this class will be given the opportunity to work there way through the grades and take exams when they have reached the necessary requirements.

ISTD Tap
Our syllabus tap classes are combined with our modern classes, allowing students to experience the variety that these 2 different styles have to offer.

Tap Dance is a percussive form of dance that explores creating different rhythms with your feet. It has a sense of relaxation and fluidity. Tap dancing is a great way to challenge the mind and has great cognitive benefits.

As with our other syllabus classes, students are able to study each grade and take exams.

Acro
Our acro classes are non syllabus lessons however we follow the teachings of acrobatic arts.

In these lessons, students focus on strength & flexibility along with acro skills. These skills range from forward rolls, all the way through to aerials and handsprings.

The progression of each student is consistently monitored to ensure that they are working at the appropriate level for their ability.

Contemporary
Our contemporary classes are non syllabus classes that focus on the freedom of movement, expressing different emotions and telling stories through the use of the body. Our exercises include floor work, corner work, turns and lifts and we love exploring different ways that the body can move, creating new and interesting shapes both as individuals and as a group.
We have both a junior contemporary class (Year 4+) and a senior contemporary class (Year 9+) throughout the week.
Our contemporary classes also perform in our biannual shows.

Musical Theatre
Our musical theatre classes are great for students who enjoy all 3 aspects of the theatre world - singing, acting and dancing. Think West End show in a studio.
Each year our students work exceptionally hard to learn and perform a musical in a local theatre. They get a real taste of the industry, auditioning for roles, and then working together as a company to produce something rather incredible.
Our junior musical theatre classes are for students in Year 1-Year 5 and then our inter musical theatre classes are for students in Year 6 and above,
