Alex Edwards

Principal

Miss Alex started her dance journey at 3 years of age, studying ballet, modern, tap & greek at her local dance school. Growing up Miss Alex took part in All England Dance festivals, becoming a finalist as well as performing in local productions.

Knowing that all she wanted to do was be in the dance world, at the age of 16, Alex gained a place at the Northern Ballet School where she studied for 3 years under the Jazz programme.

Upon graduating, Alex moved back down south and performed in 'Fame' the musical and was cast in a number of music videos.

With teaching having always been her passion and main focus, Alex went on to gain her teaching qualifications with the RAD, ISTD and Acrobatic Arts and began teaching at local dance schools in London.

Having her own dance school has always been her dream and she can't wait to continue sharing her passion with all her students at LXDance Academy.

Estella Turner

Musical Theatre Teacher

Competition Co-ordinator

Estella trained at bird college graduating in 2021 with a first class degree in professional dance and musical theatre. Since then she has performed in multiple pantomimes across the country in both lead and ensemble roles. She worked abroad as a lead vocalist, performing in variety shows as well as intimate vocal sets.

Estella has taught and studied the istd syllabus in the styles modern, tap and ballet. She also is super passionate in teaching jazz, contemporary, pointe, Acro, musical theatre, singing, commercial and street. She has choreographed for festivals, competitions and shows, even showcasing her co - choreography at the move it main stage just this year. Along with many of her previous students qualifying for the dance World Cup.

Estella is super excited to join LXDance Academy and inspire the next generation of performers.

El Wilder

Adult Ballet & Jazz Teacher

El trained at Laines Theatre Arts, graduating in 2017 with a 1st class Degree. Whilst training, she completed her ISTD DDI teaching qualification and has since completed training in Acrobatic Arts and PBT.

El is currently performing in London's West End Musical Brunch as well as teaching for our much loved weekly adult classes.
